About the Bayswater Civic Association

The Bayswater Civic Association was begun in 1935 and formally incorporated in September of 1945.  It has dedicated itself to maintaining the suburban lifestyle and quality of life in Far Rockaway. The BCA conducts monthly meetings, hosts topical speakers, produces informative newsletters and participates in local organizations to help meet this objective.

The blend of suburban homes, plentiful trees, low taxes and transportation access makes Bayswater the ideal Queens town. The convenience of Five Towns shopping with a fifteen minute ride to the JFK airport are added bonuses to living in Bayswater.

The Long Island Rail Road is a short walk and a 45 minute trip to mid-town Manhattan. The subway’s A Line elevated will take you into Manhattan in less than an hour for the price of an Omni card ride.
